A 22 year old man with a 3 month history of an isolated, non-itching, erythemato-squamous plaque extending to the lateral surface of the nose and the inner canthus.
Histological examination of a cutaneous biopsy diagnosed a discoid LE: treatment with potent topical corticosteroids cleared the lesion almost completely within one month.
